The Albuquerque Growers Market Alliance is currently comprised of five member markets –
Caravan Nouveau Growers and Artisans Market, Downtown Growers Market, Nobhill Growers Market, Northeast Farmers and Artisans Market, and Uptown Growers Market.
The managers of these markets have been working since March 2011 to:
1. Collectively represent the needs and interests of member markets before local legislative and administrative entities, the press, members of the Albuquerque communities, and civic organizations.
2. Raise collective funds for projects, advertisement, special events, and other expenses, for member markets.
3. Sponsor and assist with special projects, events, and agendas of the individual member markets.
4. Nurture and promote the growth of a strong local economy, educate consumers about the benefits of local growers’ markets, and support the health of families and individuals in the Albuquerque area.
